Hans Rosling's Visualization Masterpiece - 200 Years of Human Progress in 4 Minutes

I saved this video for a slow day, but finally decided to throw it up here on "da blawg".  Hans Rosling specializes in creating ways to visualize scientific data.  Here, he's completely outdone himself.  If anything could make you feel optimistic about the human race, this video has a good shot at it.   

There's a saying people like to throw around, "If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention." I believe the opposite is true.  If you're not ABSOLUTELY GIDDY with enthusiasm, you're not paying attention.  That should be the "Futurist" slogan.  Put that on your bumper sticker.
