Okay, not really, but this National Geographics article claims the turkey and T-Rex have a common ancestor (they make the claim in the teaser, not their article itself). Archaeologists have discovered a little dog-sized T-Rex they've named Eodramaeus which eventually grew into the huge predator.
Remember Dino from the Flintstones? Well, Eodramaeus is like that, except not pink, and decidedly much unfriendlier.
